- Kit Byron -
|
|
Kit has taught the game of tennis to thousands of Westchester residents. Under his direction, Rye Racquet Club has developed into one of the east coast's largest teaching facilities with 14 full-time teaching pros and more than 1,000 players participating each week in a wide variety of instructional programs. His junior proteges have won more than a dozen USTA singles and doubles titles, several having progressed to the pro tour as highly ranked players. In recent years, Kits' summer competition program has established the club as 'the place to be' for MITL and USTA league tennis. His indoor program 'Doubles Tactics and Strategy' has brought a professional approach and understanding to the coaching of recreational tennis. Kit is President of Tennis Club Advisors, a full-service tennis club management program that provides complete facility infrastructure to area clubs.

- Carolyn Cruz -
Director of Junior Program

Carolyn Cruz graduated from Cornell University in 1988 where she played #1 singles and doubles, and was captain of the varsity tennis team. She was the tennis pro at the Apawamis Club in Rye during the 1995 summer session. Currently she plays doubles on the Rye Racquet Club MITL 'A' Team and the USTA 5.0 team. Carolyn is the Director of Tennis and Operations at the Rye Racquet Club. She has been with the Rye Racquet Club since 1995. Carolyn is also Vice President of Tennis Club Advisors.

- Go Inagawa -
Director of Adult Program and Junior Summer Camp

Go Inagawa grew up in the Rye area and was a student in the Rye Racquet Club junior tennis program. A 1994 graduate of Syracuse University, he went on to the Tennis Tech Program at Tyler, Texas, where he was certified by the USPTR and USPTA as a P-1 Professional. He was the Assistant Pro at Hollytree Country Club and at the John Newcombe Tennis Ranch. Go joined Rye Racquet Club in 1997, where he currently serves as Assistant Program Director, Director of the Adult Workshop (AWS) program, and the Director of the Junior Summer Tennis Camp, as well as a senior staff pro.

- Ian Longua - |
|
A 1995 Concordia College graduate, Ian Longua has been on staff at Rye Racquet Club since 1996 and is a senior staff pro. In 1999, his USTA 5.0 team advanced to the finals at Flushing Meadows. His previous experience includes working as a pro at American Yacht Club. Ian spent 2001-2006, as an Assistant Pro at Manursing Island Club in Rye, NY during the summers. He is currently the Head Pro at Scarsdale Golf Club.

- Kabwe Chipopo - |
|
Kabwe (K.C.) Chipopola, a senior pro and Director of Junior Tournament Training Programs at Rye Racquet Club, has been on staff since 1999. He is a graduate of Concordia College, where he played both singles and doubles. Prior to joining Rye Racquet Club, he was a tennis professional at the New Rochelle Racquet Club and Assistant Head Pro at Concordia College Summer Junior Tennis Camp. He is a certified teaching professional of the USPTR.

- Atsuji Goto - |
|
With more than 25 years of coaching experience, Atsuji Goto is a certified member of the JPTA and the USPTA. As a junior and college player, he competed in state championships and was a ranked doubles player in Japan. Since 1995, he has been studying the Eastern medical science ‘Kiko,’ the goal of which is to reduce the burdens placed on the body during tennis. Atsuji, a senior pro, has been with Rye Racquet Club since 1990.

- Akemi Kinoshita - |
|
Akemi Kinoshita, played for the Pepperdine University tennis team in Malibu, CA. A former WTA touring pro, Akemi played in every Grand Slam tournament for several years before her retirement after the 1991 US Open. She joined Rye Racquet Club in 1997.

- Jake Wilson - |
|
Jake Wilson, another senior pro, joined Rye Racquet Club in the fall of 2002. A 2002 graduate from the University of Iowa, he played in the top half of the line-up, including #2 singles and doubles. He has also competed in many top NCAA tournaments, including the National Clay Courts and All-Americans. In past summers, he has worked at the Manursing Island Club and as first assistant at Apawamis Club, both in Rye, NY. In the summertime, he is the Director of Tennis at Pelham Country Club.

- Neel Roy - |
|
A Top 10 junior in India, Neel Roy, has been at the Rye Racquet Club since 2005. He was All conference every year at Concordia College. Neel's teaching experience includes 8 years with the College Racquet Club, 2 years at Sound Shore Indoor Tennis, and 5 years at Coveleigh Club. In addition, Neel also worked with the Men's and Women's teams at Iona College for a year, while completing an MBA in Marketing.

- Mulenga Chipopola - |
|
Mulenga Chipopola is a 2001 Psychology major from Bethune-Cookman College in Daytona Beach, Florida. In college she played singles and doubles tennis, attending and winning the Meac Regional Conference twice and was their assistant coach in 2000. Prior to attending college, Mulenga was a Zambian Junior Tennis Champion traveling around Africa with her older brother K.C. Mulenga joined the Rye Racquet Club in the fall of 2005 having taught at Bronxville Tennis for five years and teaching at Mt. Vernon Tennis for the previous three years.

- Joe Keizer - |
|
Joe ‘the pro’ Keizer joins Rye Racquet Club in the fall of 2007, previously teaching at Tennisport and the Fila Sports Club in New York City . He was also the head pro at the Dunes Racquet Club in East Hampton during the summers. Originally from Miami, Florida, Joe attended the University of California at Berkeley. Joe played on the pro tour for 3 years while residing in London. He also competed in the European Club Circuit for 2 years competing with players such as James Blake, Jim Courier and Mark Knowles.

- Klara Miklikova - |
|
Originally from Brno, Czech Republic, Klara Miklikova joins us most recently as an assistant coach with Georgia State. She was there for 5 years while working on her masters’ degrees in Sport Administration and Educational Psychology. Prior to transferring to Georgia State, Klara led her team at Bethune-Cookman College to three straight Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference titles. Rye Racquet Club welcomed Klara in the fall of 2007.

- Stjepan Beg - |
|
Stjepan Beg, a Croatian native, graduated from New Mexico State University(2007), where he played at the top of the line-up in both singles and doubles. He was captain of NMSU tennis team for the last two years of his college career. Stjepan earned a bachelor degree in Finance and International business at NMSU. He was also assistant coach at NMSU while completing his MBA degree. As a junior player, Stjepan was ranked #1 in Croatia and was a member of the Croatia National Team. Stjepan currently spends his summers as an Assistant Pro at Manursing Island Club in Rye.

- Alesya Vidov - |
|
Alesya Vidov is originally from Russia. She pursued her tennis career in Brooklyn, N.Y. Her accomplishments include the following: attained #1 ranking in the 14 & under in the Eastern Section, participated in the Fed Cup at age 16, ranked top 10 in the country, ranked top 50 in ITF, and qualified to play in the US Open main draw. Alesya attended San Diego State University where she played #1 singles and doubles all 4 years, as well as attending the NCAA’s all 4 years, earning a top 10 ranking. She majored in Business with a minor in Psychology. She has coached many top ranked junior players, including her niece who is currently on the tour. She also worked at The Polo Club in Boca Raton, Florida. She has taught at The Westchester Country Club in the summers of 2008 & 2009.

- Tiago Espirito Santo - |

Tiago Espirito Santo is originally from Brazil. As a junior player, he earned an ATP ranking. He played #1 for Wichita State University where as a captain he lead the 2008 team to its best season since 1994. Tiago was ranked top 100 in NCAA and awarded All Conference Player in three occasions. Tiago graduated with a Marketing degree and minors in International Business Management and Economics. Tiago has taught at Beach Point Club for the last 4 summers.

- Franco Aller - |
|
Franco Aller was born in New York but lived in Peru since the age of three. He was a top nationally ranked player in Peru. He was a member of the team that won the Peruvian National Intercollegiate Athletic Tournament 2 years in a row. Franco studied at Santa Maria Catholic University with a degree in dentistry. He is USPTA certified and also a Senior Pro at Lake Isle Club, personally working with top ranked national and sectional junior players, ITF ranked players and WTA also. Hobbies include listening to music, reading, Peruvian style cooking and watching movies.
