Does Rye Racquet Club offer private lessons?
Yes, clients may arrange private or semi-private instruction with our teaching professionals. Private or semi-private instruction is an excellent way to improve your overall game.

Can I learn to play tennis as an adult?
Absolutely! The teaching professionals at Rye Racquet Club are equipped to teach players of all levels. Private lessons and/or our adult clinics provide a great introduction to the game. The instructors begin by teaching basic stroke technique and rules of the game, and gradually progressing to game strategy and shot selection.

Does Rye Racquet Club have MITL or USTA teams?
Yes. Each spring and summer, Rye Racquet Club teams are very active in local inter-club competition. In recent years, both our USTA and MITL teams have been very strong, and we look forward to continuing this tradition.

What if my child misses one of his or her weekly classes?
While students are not guaranteed a make-up class, we do attempt to find a make-up time so your child can get a full sessionfs worth of tennis.

What if I want to join one of your programs, but the session has already begun?
If there is space available in a program at your skill level, we are able to pro-rate the fee for the remainder of the session.

Does Rye Racquet Club provide childcare?
Yes. Our nursery houres are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Does Rye Racquet Club have a dress code?
Standard tennis attire is required for play, including shoes designed specifically for tennis. All-white attire is not mandatory.

Does Rye Racquet Club provide instructions in other languages?
Yes. We have several instructors who will conduct a program entirely in Japanese.
